About L.A. Brink

I earned my bachelor's degree in Photography from Illinois State University in 2014, but storytelling has always been my first love.

Since grade school, I’ve been crafting stories, one of which earned me a Young Author Award. Creativity has shaped much of my life, from capturing images behind the lens to playing piano, and it continues to inspire the rhythm and voice of my writing.

 

Although life pulled me away from writing stories for a time, I rediscovered my passion in 2020 and began working on my debut novel, Unstable. The process of writing, editing, and navigating the world of self-publishing challenged me in all the best ways and helped me grow immensely as a writer.

 

With renewed purpose and experience under my belt, I’m excited to continue my author journey and share many more stories in the years to come.
